Follow in your Footsteps

A three verse hymn 

    If I stray from the narrow path,    
    Walk beside me Lord.                   
    Show me the righteous way.              
    Let me see the light today.      
    Leave  footprints on the sandy shore,
    So that I can follow in your footsteps.

Refrain 

The path is long and the path is hard,

I am weak and you are strong. 

Good Shepherd be my compass, my helping hand.

When I see the brightening dawn, 

Know that a sinner once lost is now righteous found.
